A Call to Action

Hey, everyone! I’ve returned from my weekend apartment hunting in Madison! Happily, my new roommate and I were successful in our search and are just waiting to hear back about the applications we turned in yesterday. More about that later; now I’ve got to talk about something much more important.

Hopefully everyone is aware of Chocolate-Covered Katie‘s wonderful charity page view drive, Operation Chocolate-Covered Kindness, and hopefully you’ve all been clicking your little hearts out lately. Unfortunately, one rather sad individual left Katie a mean-spirited comment, accusing her of faking things on her blog and manufacturing the charity drive as a way to make money for herself. Understandably, Katie was upset by this accusation, and responded here. As you might imagine, devoted CCK fans have left lots of lovely supportive comments, but I think we can do more. So I’m challenging all of you to double your Operation Chocolate-Covered Kindness efforts, starting right now. Go over to Katie’s blog and spend a few extra minutes following links and checking out all her recipes. Let’s show our support for Katie and her project by making it even more successful!

Charity has never looked better.

Look, I’ll make it easy for you – here for your viewing ease are a few links to some tantalizing CCK recipes. Go wild! Click away! And let Katie know that one sour grape doesn’t have to spoil the whole bunch. ;)

  1. You’re in Madison? Nice! I’m applying for an MBA program in Madison. First internet-impressions are that it’s surprisingly veg-friendly out there… dare I say… crunchy? Enjoy settling into the new place!
